Two to one for Agrigento. At the PalaMoncada game 3, Fortitudo won. The final score was 75-63, and a second quarter when Agrigento (15-4) widened a gap that then became decisive. Agrigento scored 56 points with Evangelisti, Williams and Dudzinski, and closed the first half ahead at 35-25, with a second quarter when Tezenis only scored with Boscagin and Monroe. Tezenis reacted well at the start of the third quarter with a great 6-0 with four by Monroe and two by Ndoja, taking them to a partial of 11-3 closed by a triple from Umeh (five in a row) to reach 38-36 after just two minutes. It was Agrigento’s evening however. Williams and Chiara scored, Ndoja scored a great basket, but above all Dudzinski and Williams scored from the three point line. At 6’03” Tezenis had fallen back by ten points (48-38). After the three by Saccaggi (58-46 at 1’53”), Monroe closed the third quarter at 58-48 before the last ten minutes.
Two free throws by Umeh (8’37”) brought Tezenis closer (60-53), but the following partial of 9-0 from Agrigento that Saccaggi began and Dudzinski closed (69-53) definitively widened the gap at 4’10” from the final buzzer. Final score 75-63.
